Coastal Route: Your Camino Adventure

September 7th to September 25th, 2025

prep. program starts in May, 2025 and we walk in September 2025

Like countless men and women from around the globe, you might be contemplating a pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela to find clarity, healing, or purpose. Yet, without the right preparation, your journey might not meet your expectations.

While you may recognize the need for physical readiness, neglecting the spiritual, mental, and emotional aspects can hinder your potential for profound growth and transformation on this life-altering journey.

Without a clear understanding of your personal goals and a strong sense of purpose, you risk walking the pilgrimage without true intention, missing the valuable insights it offers, and struggling to integrate those lessons into your everyday life once you return.

As your coach, I will be by your side offering the guidance and support needed to ensure this journey is a deeply transformative experience.

This is not just a walk

It’s a personal transformative experience

Prepare before the walk

The Camino has the power to change your life for the better, but it’s up to you to make it happen. That’s where I come in.

As your coach, I’ll be with you every step of the way. Together, we’ll prepare by setting intentions and keeping you accountable to stay on track.

While you’re on the Camino, I’ll invite you to journal and to help you uncover the answers and changes you’re looking for, supporting your personal growth and transformation.

With my background in psychology, mental health,  wellness, and as a Certified Travel Coach, I’ll offer the guidance and support you need to make sure the positive impact of your Camino journey lasts long after you return. And as a travel agent, I’ll book the traveling part of your experience- except flights.

Pre-Travel Preparation If you don’t prepare mentally ahead of time, you might end up seeing everything through the lens of your own culture and experiences and this can make it harder to fully embrace the transformative power of your pilgrimage.

By getting your mind, body, and soul ready, you’ll be able to make the most of this journey. You’ll connect more deeply, achieve your goals with a real sense of accomplishment, and enjoy a richer, more fulfilling experience.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who will be hosting the pilgrimage?

You will be guided in your pre, during, and post coaching sessions as well as on the pilgrimage by Linda G. Robert, Your Back in the Groove Again Coach.

How much walking experience do I need to have in order to participate in this pilgrimage?

You do not need to have any specific amount of walking experience in order to participate in this pilgrimage. However, it is important to be physically fit and able to walk for extended periods of time. If you can regularly walk for 10k – 15k at home, you should be well placed to walk the Camino where stages can be in the order of 20km/day. If you have any concerns about your physical ability to participate, it is recommended that you consult with a healthcare professional before signing up. Please keep in mind that we will be discussion physical preparation and you’ll have plenty of time to prepare physically for this wonderful experience.

Can I book a single room?

We encourage you to think about sharing accommodations during the Camino. It’s not just about the limited availability of single rooms (they are available for an additional fee*) —it’s also a wonderful way to create deeper connections and make unforgettable memories with fellow walkers. *If you prefer a bit more privacy, single rooms are available for an additional $700 on top of the regular price.

Are there vegetarian/vegan options available for meals along the way?

Yes, vegetarian and vegan options are generally available along the Camino Coastal Route. Many restaurants and cafés cater to different dietary preferences, including vegetarian and vegan meals. However, it’s always a good idea to communicate your dietary needs in advance, especially when staying in smaller towns or more rural areas where options might be limited.
